I am going to be a Grandma

I am so excited to be having a grandchild.

I still can’t believe it. I really never thought I would be here to be apart of this. My son and his wife are 13 weeks pregnant. I am busting at the seams and not sure how I can wait six months.

The circle of life really is so amazing. This takes me back to when my eldest son was born. After throwing up for 9 months, he came into the world. How I loved him dearly by then already. He was a strong, powerful force from the beginning. One and a half hours of labor later and my whole life changed forever. He was my world, I would have died for him, and still would. A mothers love is like no other, I felt that love again three years later. My second son was born to the world after 16 minutes of labor, this beautiful tiny child stole my heart. A gentle soul was gifted to me. I was so lucky and still am to have two wonderful sons I have watched grow into extraordinary men.

To my new little family member, I will love you with all of my heart. You will want for nothing in life, because you will be cherished and adored from now until eternity. Grow big and strong. I will be waiting patiently to meet you.
